to as "Ordinances". Those written thereafter are referred to as
"Local Laws". In legal terms there is no distinction between the two.

chronological sequence, and have a 3-digit designation. The first two digits
indicate the year implemented, and the third digit enumerates the law. The
exception to this designation system is Local Law 78-2. There is no Local Law
78-1.
